Making It in America 2020 Documentary – Q & A
2020, January 5th, Sunday – South Florida PBS, filmmaker Oscar Corral and Miami Dade College held the premiere screening of Making It In America at the Miami Dade College Koubek Center. The documentary highlights immigrant entrepreneurs of all levels, from multi-millionaire concrete magnate Luis Garcia to the formerly undocumented founder of Lulu’s Ice Cream, Luisa Santos. The screening was followed by a Q&A with a few of protagonists of the success stories featured in the documentary. With over 150 people in attendance, the event was a great success.
